Let me introduce myself. My name is Julie Palmer, and I am a senior at Saline High School. Saline is the only home I have ever known, as my family has been here since before I was born. My brother, Zac, is 20 years old and attends Syracuse University. My other "brother" is my dog Huey. He has been a part of my family for the past 10 years, and it's hard to imagine my life without him. Since the age of 7, I have defined myself as a baton twirler. If I'm not doing school work, I probably have a baton in my hand. Despite my busy schedule from school and twirling, I still find time to work at Menchie's, spend time with my friends, and do other things that make my heart happy.
When deciding on my schedule for senior year, this class stood out to me because I realized I had not taken a single photography class throughout the 3 years I had already been here. I used to love taking pictures, but I haven't done it in so long due to my previously mentioned busy schedule. I figured that if I took a class that forced me to take pictures, I would be more motivated to continue this hobby. Hopefully, this class reignites my passion of taking pictures.
